As a young girl of eleven, I was introduced to my baking world by my Mom...but not in the usual way. No, my Mom was not a baker (not in any sense), but she did have a wicked sweet tooth. From that first bag of chocolate chips she handed me, to the thousands of cookies, bars, cupcakes, muffins and whoopie pies I've baked through the years, the passion she helped create led me to realizing my dream of opening sugar me sweet bakers... thanks Mom!

sprinkle cookies
A soft, chewy sugar cookie with lots of sprinkles mixed in for color and texture, starts as a creamy dough, scooped into a BIG ball, then rolled in more sprinkles, and baked until edges are just slightly golden.
